First and foremost, Claire is passionate about helping people. Each appointment is delivered in a personalised manner in a warm, comfortable, safe and confidential environment at her clinic in Polegate and in certain circumstances, treatments can be offered in the comfort of your own home. Claire is compassionate, sensitive, empathetic and kind. You are her sole focus.
Claire focuses with great detail on her needling techniques to ensure patients have a positive experience. Most patients are very surprised by the needling and state not actually feeling the needles at all. The needles are about the same thickness as a strand of hair; so there is no need to worry.
What makes Claire stand out is not only will she go above and beyond to find the right treatment for you, she will explain every step to you in an effort to increase understanding of why she is doing what she is doing. Claire feels communication is key during acupuncture, it helps in understanding conditions / treatments and building a client / practitioner trusting relationship which can be key to recovery. In addition, Claire offers other treatments but will not charge anything extra; she will use her knowledge of acupuncture, remedial massage and Sotai to determine the best course of action. If a massage might help, this will be added to your session at no extra cost.
Claire studied for three years at the wonderful International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) in East Grinstead and graduated in September 2024. Since then, her personalised, professional and friendly approach has helped her business grow a lot faster than anticipated. Claire is busy making a difference. Even sceptical patients have returned with a change of heart and mind.
Having experienced first-hand the life-changing impact acupuncture had on her after complications from a planned C-section, Claire was determined and motivated to help others with the use of acupuncture. Claire had three rounds of IVF from 2016 to 2019. This included heartache, joy and unimaginable pain. After complications during the birth of her daughter in 2016 Claire was left with a debilitating back condition. A variety of treatments were completed with no impact.
That’s when Claire tried acupuncture for the first time and with a few weeks, her back condition was completely transformed. It’s no exaggeration to say this was life changing. From this moment on, Claire knew her path was to study and practice acupuncture.
I have been working with Claire for around nine months now - put simply I am beyond grateful to have found Claire, as an Acupuncture professional. I have been diagnosed with a complex, long term health condition (ME/CFS and PoTS). Claire has embraced this condition, and is trying a whole host of treatments to unify my energies. If you are looking for someone kind and caring, who will put your wellbeing at the forefront of every step - I couldn't recommend Claire highly enough.

These sessions were an education.
Over the past few months l've had 4 sessions of acupuncture with claire. On our first session claire sat with me for quite some time for a complete assessment. Going into many areas, like my lifestyle my sleep, stress levels, work life and exercise.
It's clear to see claire is very passionate about this subject and is always keen to share her knowledge, she also shows ambition to learn other methods of treatment that would compliment one another.
Her great care and love for this treatment along with her precision really does show. She found out lots of personal things about me with many health issues amd traits, some I knew of and some that I didn't to which they now all make sense.
She also had a few tricks up her sleeve with acupuncture which had an instant| affect of calming stress relief and relaxation, just ask her about yin tang.
Most definitely worth a try.

Claire is so thorough, kind, empathic and committed to healing. Her techniques read ones body like a map, so she can find what is not flowing, connecting and work on those parts. Claire talks through everything, while she is doing the treatment.
She is phenomenal.
